Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 cup pine nuts
- 3 cloves garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a food processor, combine basil leaves, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, and garlic. Pulse until finely chopped.
- With the processor running, slowly add the olive oil until the pesto is smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
