Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 cup pine nuts
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  1. In a food processor, combine basil leaves, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, and garlic. Pulse until finely chopped.
  2. With the processor running, slowly add the olive oil until the pesto is smooth.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
